Christopher Gerard LePre (Jerry)

Jerry LePre, the author of Smell the Popcorn and co-founder of C.G.L. Enterprises, LLC, is an innovator in organizational and success techniques. In recognition of his many achievements as a trainer, author, consultant, and leader, Jerry has received numerous awards including being named in "Who's Who of New Orleans" as a top insurance executive (1988). He also earned the "Key to the City" of the Big Easy for academic excellence. His inspiring message of financial freedom has been heard from coast-to-coast on several radio programs, including “Family Focus” and “Woman to Woman”.
A 21st century renaissance man, Jerry offers a melting pot of rich heart-warming stories spiced with just the right amount of humor. He has the unique ability to communicate effectively with all people; from receptionists to CEOs and from children to senior adults.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
During his time at Loyola, Jerry, a Jesuit honor graduate, worked with comedians Vance DeGeneres and Walt Williams (former head writer of Saturday Night Live and creator of Mr. Bill of SNL fame).
Later, he served as an Assistant Vice President of Sales/Marketing for the fastest growing HMO in the South, a Director of the largest HMO in Louisiana, the Compliance Officer of the first HMO in the Bayou State, and Risk Manager of an International Non-Profit. Jerry was also certified by the Louisiana Department of Insurance as an instructor for continuing education courses that he developed for the DOI.
Although most of his career was in the financial/insurance industry, as editor and managing editor of local newspapers, his team of reporters earned several Louisiana Press Association awards for investigative and feature writing. He currently serves as President of C.G.L. Enterprises, LLC and Vice President of Human Resources for International Drug Detection, LLC.
